Dear friends,
Here it is Monday morning and I am sitting here in sunny Florida enjoying the beautiful weather, while my family and friends are at home in Massachusetts putting up with cold weather, flooding in the basements, dirty snow still piled high and just yuckie roads every where. My senior club will be having their meeting tonight at the new senior location in Natick (temporary place while the town builds a community center $$$$$$). When I return next month, I will be doing a program about Susan Boyle. The senior members have been waiting for this since last September and I promised I would do it. I will include the Susan bingo game designed by Pam.
I am lucky to have Skype because I can keep and eye on my family from afar. Not only that, I will be able to be part of the WFM (World Fan Meeting in Scotland) and join the others on line celebrating Susan Boyle's 50th birthday. How good is that?
I want to thank everyone for coming to my blog. I am very new at this and now that I have posted the link on my Florida thread and Tommy has posted it on his thread (thank you) I have a lot more activity here. I will try harder to keep up to date on this blog. Since I am on the sites everyday, I will be posting good things about Susan that I like. I will post special things if I feel they are of interest. I hope you will like what comes on here. Please feel free to comment. As I said, I am new to this, so be nice.
BTW, when I had company last night, one of my Florida friends (not a computer user) who I see yearly, didn't know too much about Susan. When I asked her, the first thing she said was, "didn't she have a break down? What ever happened to her?". Oh, how this bothers me. Of course, I tried to explain and tell about Susan, but how much can you go through with people who don't understand. I am sure you know this and have run into the same situation. I really think Sony should do more publicity in the USA.
Anyway, welcome to my blog. I hope you enjoy it. See you on the sites.
