Tom Urie wrote "Never Been Kissed" for Susan. He was on a video promoting the song with Susan's brother Gerry. He was trying to get Susan to sing it, but I think it was too early in her career to do it. Now according to this story, Tom has become a big success on a show and has decided to sing the song himself. I like the song very much and I posted about it at least four times. Good luck Tom Erie. It is a very good song.

This is what I posted on the Susan Boyle Forum under title "Susan's 2nd CD post dated 1-4-2010 #65
would love to hear and see (DVD) another duet with Elaine Paige. I can't stop looking at the first one. It's so gooooooooooooood!!!!! How about Julian Smith playing in the background with Susan belting out a song. Can you picture it?
There is a song I play now and then which was written for Susan by Tom Urie. Susan's brother was in a video saying he would get the song to her. Maybe it will be on the next CD. That song is "I'VE NEVER BEEN KISSED" in the way that you kissed me tonight. I just love this song and I think Susan would make us say "WOW" with this song. Does anyone remember this?

River City star Tom Urie insists he was always a musician before he turned to acting

He has recorded with Runrig, supported KT Tunstall in Dunfermline and was on the bill for Tom Jones' Celtic Connections performance in Glasgow earlier this year. He also appears as a vocalist on Scots DJ Mylo's multi-million selling album Destroy Rock & Roll.
The album will be produced by Bay City Rollers' bass player John "Woodie" Wood. Tom released a single, Never Been Kissed, last year. He originally wrote the song for Susan Boyle, but River City producers asked him to sing it as part of a spurned-love storyline in the soap.
