Susan Boyle musical Australian tour postponed

Producers behind SUSAN BOYLE's musical have postponed an upcoming tour of Australia.

I Dreamed a Dream, which tells the story of Boyle's rise to fame via a TV talent show, was due to head Down Under this spring (13) following a successful U.K. run, but the plans have been axed due to scheduling problems.

A statement from producers reads, "The producers of I Dreamed a Dream regret to advise that due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, the upcoming Australian Tour has been postponed. Customers who have purchased tickets for this season will receive a full refund of the ticket price... The producers regret any inconvenience caused."

The U.K. version of I Dreamed a Dream starred Elaine C. Smith in the lead role and also featured a cameo appearance from Boyle herself.
