Susan Boyle was first discovered after queuing at Glasgow’s Clyde Auditorium on an April afternoon for her life-changing BGT audition which catapulted her to fame. Two years on and two best-selling albums later, SuBo is returning to the city’s iconic building– this time for a seat in the audience as Peter Kay's special guest.
The 50-year-old, who recently celebrated her landmark birthday in style, has been personally invited to his Tour That Doesn’t Tour Tour and is said to be “absolutely delighted” about it.
The duo worked together at this year’s Comic Relief as they filmed a spoof cover of Chess video I Know Him So Well, which featured one of SuBo’s musical heroes Elaine Page.
According to The Sun, The Wild Horses singer is said to be attending Kay’s Sunday show, the penultimate night on his five-day Scotland stint.
Susan is said to be currently working on her third album with producer Steve Mack although has recently enjoyed a little party time as she celebrated her birthday with a group of close friend’s and family in her hometown of Blackburn.
Speaking to STV on her birthday at the start of April, the Scot singing sensation admitted that the last two years of her life have been fantastic.
“They’ve really changed my life and I’d like it to continue.”
