Thank you so much to all of you who helped me celebrate my 50th Birthday. I can honestly say that it was one of the best day’s I have ever had and I feel so very lucky and spoiled to have had so many beautiful messages, cards and gifts sent to me. Thank you so much.
The party was amazing and everything I wished it to be. I had my close friends and family around me and we danced the night away with Greek dancing, Scottish dancing and some good old pop classics.
In particular I want to thank Joanne, my niece who helped organise the evening. She did such a wonderful job and managed to surprise me with Stavros Flatley. They were on Britain’s Got Talent with me and it was great to catch up with old friends and hear how their lives have been transformed since appearing on the show. Their act is brilliant and they had everyone up on their feet learning how to Greek dance, it was hysterical. Turning 50 didn’t have me fretting, in fact I was looking forward to it. I have had the best 2 years of my life so far and I can’t wait to see what this decade holds for me.
I also want to take this opportunity to say that my thoughts and prayers go out to the people in Northern Japan who have been devastated by such tragedy. It’s been a year since I visited Japan and performed at The Budokan. Japan holds a special place in my heart and to see such a beautiful country suffering is terrible.
