Susan Boyle fanatic wows 'X
Factor' judges
Susan Boyle fanatic Roger Boyd was one of the success stories at the X FactorLiverpool auditions, it has been revealed.
The 32-year-old rock fan performed Meat Loaf's 'I'd Do Anything For Love' at the Echo Arena, winning acclaim from the judging panel.
He has been nicknamed RoBo because of his passion for Boyle and the fact that he has named his dog after her pet cat Pebbles.
Off-licence worker Boyd also revealed that he had mastered his vocals at karaoke nights.
"Just like SuBo, Roger looked a bit geeky and not an obvious star when he walked on without much stage presence, but he launched into Meatloaf's 'I'd Do Anything For Love' and the crowd went wild," a witness told The Mirror.
The auditions stage of the talent show ended last and filming for Judges' Houses and Boot Camp is expected to begin soon.
