Susan Boyle breaks chart record

Susan Boyle breaks chart record
Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle has made chart history once again with her third album Someone To Watch Over Me. The 50-year-old, who also topped charts with her records I Dreamed A Dream in 2009 and The Gift in 2010, has become the first female artist to ever have three successive albums debut at number one in less than two years. Someone To Watch Over Me beat competition from boy band The Wanted and Florence and the Machine. No other artist in the past 65 years of the UK charts has had so many albums go straight to number one in such a short period of time. According to British newspaper the Daily Mirror, Boyle said: "This is fantastic news! I am delighted, excited and overwhelmed. "One thing is for sure, I'll be cracking open the champagne tonight and celebrating. This is just wonderful. Wow."
