Les Mis film was inspired by SuBo

BLOCKBUSTER Les Miserables would never have been made into a film if it was not for SUBO, it has been revealed.
Theatre impresario Cameron Mackintosh said the “trigger” was the moment Susan Boyle, 51, wowed Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 with her version of the musical’s I Dreamed A Dream.
He added: “I’ve always said we owe her a great debt. It was one of those great miracles that nobody could ever plan.”
The stage version of Les Miserables — created by Mackintosh — had been running for 23 years when Scot SuBo appeared on BGT. The film is tipped to win Oscars.
