Susan Boyle
Susan Boyle had her first taste of fame at age 47, after she became recognised as a contestant on “Britain’s Got Talent” for singing “I Dreamed a Dream” from Les Miserables. The Scottish singer became an instant success due to her “frumpy”, unglamourous image and impressive voice. Her debut album became a number one best-selling album around the world, and is still UK’s best-selling debut album of all time.
