No one was in any doubt where Susan Boyle was born and raised on Saturday, when she stepped out for the West Lothian Highland Games 2014.
The singer was dressed in purple tartan as she made her way through Bathgate, after being asked to be Chieftain of this year's event.
The 53-year-old - who grew up in Blackburn less than 10 miles away - looked proud with her new role as she met some of the topless competitors.

The former Britain's Got Talent winner looked to having a ball as she posed with the Games' mascot Hamish.
Speaking prior to the day, Susan told Bathgate2014.com said: 'This is such a big event for West Lothian. I’m really looking forward to the Championships and hearing all the bands play. It will be one noisy weekend in Bathgate.'
The star's outfit was perfectly coordinated with her plaid blazer, which featured some pretty flowers on the lapel.
