Some terrible news had arrived for Susan Boyle fans as the singer has recently been diagnosed with a type of autism called Asperger syndrome. However, despite the diagnosis Boyle feels a sense of relief.
Boyle explained that she was misdiagnosed when she was a child and after seeing a specialist last year, she was properly diagnosed.
When Boyle was a child, she dealt with learning issues and as a result, she became a victim of bullying. At the time, Boyle was told that her learning difficulties were the result of brain damage due to oxygen deprivation at birth.
The singer revealed, "I have always known that I have had an unfair label put upon me. Now I have a clearer understanding of what’s wrong, and I feel relieved and a bit more relaxed about myself"
"I would say I have relationship difficulties, communicative difficulties, which lead to a lot of frustration. If people were a bit more patient, that would help," Boyle continued.
Well I hope people can be understanding of her condition.

SUSAN BOYLE is extending the cherished council house she calls home – by knocking through the walls into the house next door.
The singing sensation, 52, is building a six-bedroom palace at the place she has lived since she was a baby.
It comes after neighbours Paul Keaveney and Teresa Miller were turfed out.
I Dreamed a Dream star Susan fell out with them after they accused her in 2012 of keeping them awake by belting out her hits. She insisted they were the troublemakers.
Now, Paul, 45, and Teresa, 40, have moved out – and eagle-eyed Susan has snapped up the house which adjoins her own treasured council semi in Blackburn, West Lothian. Susan bought a five-bedroom £300,000 new-build detached villa in March 2010 at the other end of the village with her first blast of earnings.
But she didn’t settle and moved back to the modest home she bought from West Lothian Council for £65,000 in 2009.
Susan – who has sold 14million records and is worth an around £11million – is believed to have received a £15,000 discount because her family had lived there more than 30 years.
Now, Susan is renting the property next door from landlords Romano and Claudia Pacitti
while she agrees a price with them. It is worth an estimated £65,000.
Susan’s lifelong home

A source said: “Susan tried living in the posh house, as she calls it, but she hated it. It’s got all mod-cons and is a terrific property but the council house is where all her roots are.
“She has lived there all her life. It is her home and that will never change. She could buy a place anywhere in the world but this is where she stays. Everyone on the street keeps an eye out for her and she likes that.
“The only downside was the bother with Paul and Teresa – and now they are gone.
“So to be able to stay put but extend is brilliant for her. She can’t wait to start drilling through the walls. She is renting the house next door while she agrees a sale – as long as the landlords don’t rack the price up. She is canny with her money and won’t be made a mug out of.”
The “posh house” is now lived in by Susan’s niece.
Paul and Teresa were given notice to quit in September and they are now living elsewhere in Blackburn. Teresa said: “We were told we had two months to get out. The landlord said he wanted to sell the property.”
News of Susan’s extended home comes after she revealed last month that she has Asperger’s syndrome.
Susan – mocked as Susie Simple as a child – learned she has the form of autism after she was wrongly diagnosed with brain damage at birth. She said she felt relieved and relaxed knowing her condition.
She added: “I think people will treat me better because they will have a much greater understanding of who I am and why I do the things I do.”

Fox News to feature Susan Boyle, Rodney Atkins for ‘All-American New Year’
The good thing about New Year’s Eve this year is that there are some different options for you to check out depending on what sort of entertainment you’re looking for. For one example of that, “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” on ABC will give you an opportunity to replay some of the best songs of 2013 before they start to drift away into the catacombs of the radio. Meanwhile, Anderson Cooper on CNN will show you that sometimes, even a promotional newscaster can giggle uncontrollably while a female comedienne in her fifties throws his glasses and occasionally touches his unmentionables.
But what about Fox News? The more conservative option has their own special planned in “All-American New Year” started at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time. You may have also heard that Willie and Korie Robertson are set to give their first TV interview about the Phil Robertson – “Duck Dynasty” controversy, but there are some other reasons to watch the special. For one “Britain’s Got Talent” sensation Susan Boyle is going to grace the show in some way (which may technically not make this “All-American,” which is perfectly fine with us since she’s awesome), as will Rodney Atkins.
Bill Hemmer and Elisabeth Hasselbeck are the hosts for this special, which is going to feature a variety of different segments along with a hope that this could become an annual tradition for these anchors like some of the other networks out there have. “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” for example, has been going strong for many decades now, and CNN has been more than happy with their Cooper / Griffin show for much of the past several years. We’re fine with most of these sticking around for as long as the people involved want to do them.

Susan Boyle gave a beautiful performance on Tuesday night during New Year’s Eve. The former contestant ofBritain’s Got Talent give an emotional rendition of Auld Lang Syne at the end of the FOX News All-American New Year. The show had several key moments including an interview with the Duck Dynasty cast.
Susan Boyle didn't need to brave the cold as she was in studio while she performed. Giving fans a look at the celebrations on New Year’s Eve in Times Square that happened only hours before, the music was laid over the images and seemed like a perfect accompaniment to the moment. FOX news also offered up some great sound bites from the popular on air personalities as well.
While 2013 might be coming to a close, it was Susan Boyle who set the tone for a good start in 2014. Offering the fans a reason to sing along, her angelic voice seemed to capture the moment and strike the hearts of the viewers.
Without question Susan Boyle's performance was the best on New Year's Eve. It was better than Miley Cyrus in Times Square and far more appealing than other artists who performed in Hollywood, Las Vegas and other venues. Boyle's emotion for the end of the year rang true and she didn't need to worry about pitching an album
