Susan Boyle gave a beautiful performance on Tuesday night during New Year’s Eve. The former contestant ofBritain’s Got Talent give an emotional rendition of Auld Lang Syne at the end of the FOX News All-American New Year. The show had several key moments including an interview with the Duck Dynasty cast.
Susan Boyle didn't need to brave the cold as she was in studio while she performed. Giving fans a look at the celebrations on New Year’s Eve in Times Square that happened only hours before, the music was laid over the images and seemed like a perfect accompaniment to the moment. FOX news also offered up some great sound bites from the popular on air personalities as well.
While 2013 might be coming to a close, it was Susan Boyle who set the tone for a good start in 2014. Offering the fans a reason to sing along, her angelic voice seemed to capture the moment and strike the hearts of the viewers.
Without question Susan Boyle's performance was the best on New Year's Eve. It was better than Miley Cyrus in Times Square and far more appealing than other artists who performed in Hollywood, Las Vegas and other venues. Boyle's emotion for the end of the year rang true and she didn't need to worry about pitching an album
