Photo: Susan Boyle’s red fashion was perfect to launch 'Poppy Appeal'
Susan Boyle looked relaxed on Wednesday when she stood on the steps outside Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. The entertainer didn't come to sing as she was launching the 2012 Scottish Poppy Appeal. Surrounded by a choir and plenty of smiling faces, the entertainer seemed to be grateful for the chance to help others in a special occasion.
Wearing a red coat along with a red hat, the entertainer was impossible to miss surrounded by the blue shirt choir. Standing in the center, the artist held up a poppy sign and was shown an abundance of appreciation for her time to make the message heard.
Poppyscotland, the charity which has the special event, sells holiday items for the chance to help ex-service members and their families with issues after time spent in the military service. The organization includes a large choir, volunteers all over the country and a holiday event that is known by generations of residents.
While the focus was about helping others, it appeared that Susan Boyle definitely loved being part of the action. One of the few times she looked comfortable surrounded by others, it was delightful to see a smile on the singers face.
