The article above is probably a valid sign that the fickle world that was in a desperate fog of hopelessness back in 2008-09 is now getting back to business as usual. Susan Boyle's epic 'Journey of Hope' gave the world a visible image hope in action at a time when there wasn't much evidence of hope anywhere else. An extreme example of this effect would be the emotional impact of 9-11 on people. For months after 9-11 the church pews were overflowing with folks that were not there before the disaster. After enough time passed and healing was happening things went back to the way they were. The same thing is happening here. Susan was heading straight to the stars while most people were stuck in uncertain circumstances. I know I lived quite a while emotionally off of Susan Boyle's saga of hope while my personal situation continued to be pretty desperate. In some way, I think we enjoyed a sense of success through Susan's success. Like the church, though, we will probably see a falling away of those fans who were just riding the wave of 'hope' that she had created with her astonishing grit and determination against what everybody thought was an impossibility when they first saw her standing on that stage in 2009.
Susan's true fans will remain because they are drawn by her spirit which she openly displays. When the article speaks of Adele having a dazzling repartee that Susan Boyle lacks, that proves the difference between their two types. Artists like Adele, Madonna, K.D.Lang and others appeal to the natural. Susan put her spirit out front and center from day one just as she has all her life. That will never put her on the stage at the Grammy's or the Academy Awards like Adele, but she has captured the hearts of millions who let Susan into their emotional deep places through her soul stirring songs that the Adele's and Madonna's of the world are not even interested in visiting.

Sorry SuBo! Adele's new album causes Susan Boyle's to be put on hold
The Britain's Got Talent star, who shares a record label with Adele, has had her fifth album pushed back as record bosses prioritise the Oscar-winning songstress
Between them, they’ve sold almost 50 million albums, won a raft of awards and are worth a cool £36million.
But of Adele and Susan Boyle, it seems only one will be able to build on that any time soon.
Record bosses Stateside have delayed production of Subo’s fifth album, deciding to prioritise star signing Adele instead.
The 24-year-old multi-Grammy winner started work on her new album on Monday, to be released mid-2014.
And while Subo had begun recording for her fifth LP – a jazz-inspired collection – Columbia-Sony, which looks after both acts, has decided to put it on hold in order to focus on Tottenham-born Adele.
My insider tells me: “Both Adele and Subo have done incredibly well and both are very important artists.
“While Subo is still a big-hitter and there are high hopes for her next album, Adele is the priority.
“Stateside, she has never been hotter. Some of those within Susan’s camp are worried that this is not a good sign but label bosses have been quick to reassure them that Susan still has an incredibly bright future.
“Adele is currently in a recording studio in London and it’s in lockdown mode for the next few weeks.
“Four tracks are finished in terms of writing and she’s now laying down preliminary vocals with backing music and singers.
“The rest of the record will be done in LA. The feel is very much Adele going back to her roots, with some modern jazz and a couple of classic old songs.”
