Susan Boyle lands reality show
Susan Boyle has landed her own reality TV show.
The 52-year-old singer - who shot to fame after appearing on 'Britain's Got Talent' in 2009 - has reportedly agreed to be followed by cameras as she prepares for her first-ever tour, which will take place in Scotland in July.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, the programme - which will air on ITV later this year - will feature the 'I Dreamed A Dream' star at home, as well as during rehearsals and backstage at the shows.
Speaking about the tour, she said: ''This is the first year that I feel I can hold my own on a stage for the full time and that I will be able to please an audience and my fans...This is a big step for me but one that I'm very excited about.''
Susan is in the midst of a busy few months because as well as the tour preparations, she is currently filming her movie debut.
The single star will play the wife of a church warden in festive film 'The Christmas Candle' alongside Samantha Barks and John Hannah.
She is expected to showcase her vocal talents in the movie, singing a specially-written hymn.
The film tells the story of a village's beloved Christmas candle and the horror that follows when it disappears.
