Hey, big spender! Susan Boyle buys house next door for £110,000Susan Boyle has purchased the house next door to hers for £110,000[WENN]
The 53-year-old singer reportedly paid 110,000 for the house - around 40,000 over the market value.
Susan will now go ahead with her plans to knock through the walls and convert the two properties into a six-bedroomed dream home.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that she was renting the house in Blackburn, West Lothian, from landlords Romano and Claudia Pacitti while she agreed a price with them.
Clearly keen to secure the adjoining house, Susan decided to pay that much more - with similar houses on the street having sold for around 70,000 in recent years.
The sale came after Susan s neighbours Paul Keaveney and Teresa Miller, who were renting the house, were asked to leave by the landlords.

Susan had fallen out with the couple after they accused her in 2012 of keeping them awake by belting out her hit songs, but she insisted they were the troublemakers.
We were told we had two months to get out. The landlord said he wanted to sell the property, Mrs Miller said.
Susan bought a five-bedroom 260,000 new-build detached villa at the other end of the village back in 2011 when she first hit the big time.
But she didn t settle there and decided to move back to the modest home where she had lived with her family since she was a child.
The former Britain s Got Talent contestant, who has sold 14million records and is worth around 1million, bought the home from West Lothian Council for 35,600 in 2010.

She received a discount because her family had lived there more than 30 years.
I know Susan had wanted to buy the house for a while so it s great for her that the sale has went through, one neighbour said.
She never settled at the other house and has always wanted to remain close to her roots.
This will give her a bit more space and prevent her getting any hassle from neighbours through the wall, they added.
When the house was being rented out anybody could be put next door to her and she had no control over it.
Susan is popular with people in the street and nobody will grudge her buying the house.
