"Susan Boyle proves she's a good sport as she does the Ice Bucket Challenge in a floral swimsuit" - by Mail Online

Susan Boyle proves she's a good sport as she does the Ice Bucket Challenge in a floral swimsuit
But few have seen her singing her favourite tune while having three buckets worth of ice cold water poured over her head.
Good sport Susan became the latest British celebrity to complete her Ice Bucket Challenge on Monday and, luckily, she was suitably clad in a floral swimsuit for the occasion.

The former Britain's Got Talent contestant, who became an internet sensation when she sang in front of Piers Morgan and Simon Cowell on the show, headed down to the garden to be showered with water for MacMillan Cancer Support.

Wearing a green-striped turban and a floral swimming costume, Susan gathered a crowd in her back garden to watch her complete a video for the viral charity campaign.
The 53-year-old singer wasn't shy about putting her pins on show as she sat on a dining room chair, outside, and was interviewed about her imminent soaking.

She said: 'I'm wearing a cozy, a scarf wrapped round me head, I've got the American flag and I've got flip flops on.
'I am doing it for MacMillan, I wish to thank everyone who nominated me, I wish to nominate Piers Morgan, Cindy Boyle and Benny Mulhern.'

Keeping her characteristic grin and infectiously sweet giggle about her, the singer said there was no time to feel nervous before exclaiming, 'Let's get on with it!'
Star soaking: Being a good sport, the singer even threw a huge tub of water over her own head when the others had finished

Getting three sizeable buckets of water tipped over her head from all angles while singing the Les Miserables show tune, Susan nearly suffered an unfortunate nipple slip as the straps of her costume struggled under the weight of the water and her turban fell down around her neck.
But, taking on the challenge in spectacular style, the singer even chucked a tub of water over her own head to the amusement of onlookers.
She then stood up and waved her American flag in one hand while dancing around her garden in Blackburn.
