SINGING star Susan Boyle’s amazing life story is to be the subject of a film blockbuster.

Susan teased her fans with the revelation yesterday in London as she made the announcement that her duet with Elvis Presley is being released as a Christmas single to raise money for charity.

Elvis had huge hits with songs such as The Wonder of You and Heartbreak Hotel.

But his version of O Come, All Ye Faithful was chosen for the Boyle duet and proceeds will go to Save The Children.

Speaking of the forthcoming biopic the star, who shot to fame on Britain’s Got Talent, told fans to “watch this space” for more announcements.

She said: “There are plans in operation for that, but that’s for later on.”

It comes as One Chance, the biopic of Paul Potts, who also achieved fame after appearing on BGT, was released with James Corden in the lead role.

Susan, 52, from Blackburn, West Lothian, has become an ambassador for Save The Children and filmed a video for the Elvis track at St Rose of Lima Primary School in Craigend, Glasgow.

She said: “Duetting with Elvis was beyond my wildest dreams. That this is able to raise money and help children is fantastic.

“I’ve had the privilege of spending time with those from a Fast programme – Families And Schools Together.

“To see the money raised in action and the difference it makes to families is wonderful.

“The children from the Fast programme also joined me for the video. We had a lovely two days and they were fabulous. They were all stars.”

The single, from Susan’s fifth album, will be released on Sunday, December 8. In a recorded message to the press conference, music supremo Simon Cowell said  he was “proud” of Susan. He added: “No one of all the people I’ve met has a bigger heart than you.”

Susan will make her film debut in A Christmas Candle. The movie is to be released for Christmas.
