Susan Boyle still hasn’t found the man of her dreams and while the rest of the nation gears up for what is supposed to be the most romantic day of the year, the singer has revealed she will be spending Valentine’s Day alone, at her home in Blackburn.
Despite having offers of dates and marriage proposals from a string of men around the world, Susan still hasn’t found her true love, so on February 14, she will be content with enjoying a quiet day at her ex council house, with some well earned time off.
The 51 year-old told Deadline News: “I have no plans for Valentine’s Day. I’ll probably stay at home this year and enjoy my time off.
“I’m a woman of over 50 – I can’t be seen to be celebrating such things.” You’re never too old for love Susan.
Susan is loved by millions of fans around the globe and she previously admitted she would like to meet someone to grow old with, it just hasn’t happened yet.
She said: “We all like the idea of sharing our lives with someone who is going to protect and look after us. I’m on my own quite a lot and that special person hasn’t come along yet.”
There’s still time Susan and somehow we think Ms Boyle will be waking up to one or two heart shaped cards tomorrow morning.
Susan became a global sensation when she auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009 with a beautiful rendition of Les Miserables’ I Dreamed a Dream.
Fast forward to 2012, and she is now one of the most successful artists in the world, selling millions of albums and constantly in demand for concerts and appearances.
Having already sung for the Pope, she is about to see another one of her dreams come true as she has been lined up to perform for the Queen at the celebratory pageant at Royal Windsor Horse Show, as part of the celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this year.
Perhaps the final piece in the puzzle for Susan would be Someone To Watch over her...
