Susan Boyle has become the latest major star confirmed to perform at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee pageant.
SuBo, 51, joins Rolf Harris, 82, in the line-up on Sunday, May 13, when they will sing for the Queen and Duke.
Actress Dame Helen Mirren will also be involved in the four-day event and is set to introduce acts, as will Doc Martin actor Martin Clunes, The Kumars’ Sanjeev Bhaskar and comedian Omid Djalili.
Some 1,100 performers and 550 horses star in the show, which highlights the Queen’s passion for horses and celebrates the 250-plus Commonwealth and state visits she has made during her reign.
Director Simon Brooks Ward said: “When you think of all the state occasions the Queen has been involved with, horses have always been there.”
Windsor Castle hosts the event from May 10 to May 13 and highlights will be shown on ITV1
in June, presented by Alan Titchmarsh.
