Susan Boyle was left shaken when her ex-gardener appeared at her door on Saturday night.
The 51-year old Britain’s Got Talent star called the police when 22-year-old Allan White, who she previously had a run in with over what he charged her for carrying out work in her garden, began shouting through her letterbox.
According to The Sun, White claims: “I was quite drunk. I must have had about eight pints of lager and then I took 30 paracetamol.
“I didn’t realise how many paracetamol I was taking. I was in the house, then I saw the empty sachets and realised I’d taken too many. I felt really confused.”
Despite reports to the contrary, he denies asking the singer for money.
“I said, ‘Look Susan, I’ve had a wee accident. I need some help. I need to use your phone’. I didn’t ask for any money,” he insisted.
Speaking of Susan’s upset at the incident, a source told the paper: “This guy turned up at Susan’s house, shouting through the door and asking for money. Susan was scared. She lives by herself and her home is supposed to be her little sanctuary. She called the police because she was understandably frightened.”
Police and an ambulance are said to have arrived at the star’s home at 9.30 and White was taken to hospital and given a warning for his antics.
A police spokesman told The Sun: “No further action will be taken."
