SINGING superstar Susan Boyle would never let down her Aberdeen fans, bosses of her stage show pledged today.
The people behind I Dreamed a Dream spoke out after the Evening Express revealed SuBo had missed an appearance at His Majesty’s Theatre because of illness – despite being spotted at an Aberdeen restaurant hours earlier.
A spokeswoman for the show said: “Susan usually goes on about 10pm. She was in the theatre when she got ill and she couldn’t manage to get on and perform. The last thing Susan would want to do is disappoint her fans in Aberdeen.”

I made a comment on Elaine C. Smith's page and my Facebook.  I will post it here in hopes that someone who can do something regarding the times Susan can not appear, it would be a thoughtful thing to do for the fans.  Here it is:

I posted this on Elaine's Facebook and I thought I would post it here: This message is meant to be a constructive thought and not meant to offend anyone.

Elaine, congratulations on a wonderful show! I heard IDAD is an amazing, successful show. I also heard Susan was sick and I felt so bad for her, as I know she is so caring and would never miss a show if she could help it. I also feel bad for the fans that went that night. According to The Scottish Sun, people waited up to 20 minutes for her to show, which is so sad to read. Why didn’t someone step out on stage for Susan to explain what happened to her to the audience. It would have saved a lot of hard feelings.

Elaine and Team, please consider this for Susan:
When Susan cannot appear, why don't you have a large screen come down with a message from Susan saying she is sorry she couldn't make it and appreciated everyone for coming to the show? Susan could also state that she recorded this message especial for you out in the audience. We know that Susan cannot make all the shows because she will be recording her new CD, and engagements already planned, like singing for the Queen and also travel plans already in place. So, wouldn't a nice message like that with a song or two recorded be a nice thing to do for her fans and the people who paid hoping to see her. Give it a try.
