SUSAN BOYLE'S family are to launch their own assault on the pop charts after recording their first album.
The singing superstar’s siblings made a record which is about to be released as they bid to become the next Osmonds.
They wanted to do a charity record in memory of their brother James, who died in May.
The album features Susan’s brothers Gerry, 58, and John, 62, her sister Mary Brady, 74, and niece Sharon – John’s daughter.
It is called Yule Terrace by The Boyle Family after the street in Blackburn, West Lothian, where the family grew up and where Susan still lives.
The Boyles had wanted their famous sister to sing a track on the record but her management refused.
Gerry said: “We started talking about recording something in tribute to our dear brother.
“We started getting loads of messages from fans in America saying they would love to hear
an album from us so we thought we would give it a go.”

Last week, Gerry became embroiled in a row with Susan’s management over a show he is hosting in Blackpool where she will make a guest appearance.
He denied he was trying to cash in on his sister’s fame.
He said: “We have not asked to be stars but there is a demand.”
The family are planning a show in Edinburgh.
