Over 550 horses and more than 1,000 dancers, musicians and performers will put on a spectacular equestrian spectacle for the Queenand the Duke of Edinburgh in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Thursday.
The show, called Around the World in 60 Years and 90 minutes, will be held over four nights, with a special performance on Sunday May 13 featuring guest artists, Susan Boyle, Dame Helen Mirren and Rolf Harris.
Visitors will be treated to a spectacular journey showcasing displays from different parts of the globe, reflecting the Queen's State and Commonwealth visits during the course of her reign.
The star of the Great Britain act will be Stardust, one of the Queen's horses trained and looked after by Horse of the Year Show champion Katie Jerram.
The Queen bred Stardust at the royal stud at Hampton Court and according to Ms Jerram, Her Majesty "meets her two or three times a year and she always gives her a carrot out of a little paper bag that she's had cut up"

The Diamond Jubilee Pageant takes place at Windsor Castle from May 10 to 13. Highlights will be screened on ITV in June.
