Susan Boyle goes shopping in New York
Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle has been picking up one or two gifts for Christmas, having flown over to New York to enjoy shopping in the Big Apple.
According to newspaper reports, the singer spent $19,000 in Tiffany's alone.
The former Britain's Got Talent star spent the money in the flagship store on 5th Avenue, which was immortalised in Audrey Hepburn's 1961 film, Breakfast at Tiffany's.
For the West Lothian girl the money spent is small change now, with recent estimates of her wealth coming in at around $394 million.
Susan then treated herself and friends to a trip round Central Park in a horse-drawn carriage.
The shopping trip came as Susan took a break from promoting her new album, Standing Ovations, released last week.
Susan was on TV screens last Friday singing a version of Eva Cassidy's Somewhere Over the Rainbow, which appears on her new album, for Children In Need. She has also recently duetted with her childhood idol Donny Osmond in Las Vegas.
Donny also appears on the new album, singing This is the Moment with the 51-year-old.
