Susan Boyle on Joel Osteen: Miracle Hymn Song & The Christmas Candle Sto...

The Christmas Candle -November 18th, Monday - Second time viewing.

This afternoon we headed out to lunch and went back to Harlow's at the Grand Palace Edwards theater. We saw The Christmas Candle for the first time on Saturday night, just after a wonderful dinner at Harlow's. So we went back today. After lunch we went in to see The Christmas Candle for the second time in three days. I loved it the first time I saw it, but I really didn't pay attention to the story line, as I was so much concentrating on Susan's beautiful role and her magnificent song, Miracle Hymn. Both were beautiful!  Then and there I realized that this film would be a loved movie for years to come and would become "the" yearly Christmas movie to see.

When I saw The Christmas Candle today, did I ever love it, you bet I did!  I really saw the real story of  The Christmas Candle and loved every minute of it. Watched it completely, with no analyzing of various roles.  How impressed at what I saw, and especially with how I felt.  I was so engrossed in the full story from start to finish. Even through my tears I enjoyed that marvelous movie.  I urge everyone to go see it.  It is a loving, feel good, family type movie that everyone will enjoy.  The characters come to life by all the wonderful actors in various roles. There were humorous parts and then some very serious scenes. Much human nature and human fragility shown throughout this fine movie.  The musical score held you in suspense just long enough to bring you back into a serene ending, with thoughts that miracles are all around and there are miracles yet to be found.

At the various weekend functions, it was so nice meeting and hearing some of the cast and crew of The Christmas Candle film. It was nice to meet the people behind the movie. Producer Tom Newman and his wife were there supporting the film. Their son Eric, who is the co-writer and son Jerard who had a small role in the first part of the movie, as candle maker, also there.  Also Candace Lee, who co-wrote the story, was there with her aunt Amy Wells and others in their family. Rick Santorum and his wife were at Lakewood.

Here are a few pictures:
Jerard Newman played the role of Edward the first candle maker in the beginning of the movie.
