Susan Boyle will use her upcoming stage show musical to test her endurance to see if she is ready to tour the world.
Boyle will be portrayed by British actress Elaine C. Smith, but she will step out on stage at every show to sing in the finale.
She will head out on the production's 11-week tour of the U.K. and Ireland later this month (Mar12) and the singer hopes the shows will give herthe confidence she needs to launch her own global trek.
She tells BBC Breakfast, "It will be an experience so I can do other shows later on, sort of a toe in the water".
Smith adds, "She will find out just how shattering seven or eight shows a week can be. It will be good experience for her if she wants to do her own tour".
