Susan Boyle proved she has The X Factor in Glasgow on Saturday
The Britain’s Got Talent singing sensation passed on her words of wisdom to Kitty Brucknell and the gang when they performed at the SECC.
Susan Boyle delighted the X Factor 2011 finalists by meeting and greeting them when they arrived at Glasgow’s SECC for the live tour at the weekend.
Susan is proof that you don’t need to win a talent show to enjoy global success and her visit clearly inspired the singers, who were XtraXcited to meet the Scot.
None more so than Overs star Kitty Brucknell, who Tweeted: “Omg I just met Susan Boyle. #livinglegend wow. Feel so privileged that she just watched me perform...so honoured! :-) what a lovely person.”
Susan’s life changed forever after she auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent back in 2009, but it could have been a very different story as she originally auditioned for The X Factor.
In an interview with Ok! magazine, the 50-year-old admitted: “Funnily enough I did go for it, but there were too many people so they told me about another show which catered for a wider audience, Britain’s Got Talent. It was the perfect window for me.”
And the rest, as they say, is history.
While Susan is now a record-breaking superstar, Kitty and the gang are just starting out in their careers, hoping for success when the X Factor live tour finishes.
Will they all go on to bigger and better things? Time will tell but for now they are lapping up every moment of glory they get as Little Mix, Amelia Lily, Marcus Collins and the rest of the talented bunch perform to sell out crowds at arenas across the country.
Following the Glasgow show, Johnny Robinson Tweeted: “Thank you Glasgow :)) Great audience and such lovely people love you xxxxxx,” while boyband The Risk simply wrote: “Glasgowwwww :-) so good x”
